SO WHICH COVER LIFTER IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Covers can get heavy and difficult to lift and store on your own. There are many different kinds of cover lifters that stop the need for heavy lifting and keep your spa covers off the ground. When choosing a lifter, here are some factors to consider:

PRIVACY VS. VIEW: Different mounts hold the cover at different heights. Think about whether you have a nice lake view you want to be able to see from the spa or prefer privacy from the neighbours.
CLEARANCE: Because cover lifters require space to function and hold your cover to the side, you need enough space around the spa for the mechanism.
COMPATIBILITY: The cover lifter you should be using depends on the size of your spa.

TOP MOUNT COVER LIFTER: The top mount cover lifter is our best-selling cover lifter. This option will fit square or rectangle acrylic spas. It mounts on the side panels just below the spa acrylic, is manually operated, and provides maximum privacy as it is mounted higher. It also comes with a towel or robe holder for your convenience. *Required clearance: 10-12 inches |

BOTTOM MOUNT LIFTER: The bottom mount cover lifter is ideal for square and rectangular spas, mounts on the side panels just above the base of the spa, is manually operated, and is great for a backyard with a view due to its placement being lower. *Required clearance: 12-15 inches |

CRADLE MOUNT LIFTER: This cover lifter is best for portable spas and our Ottawa Spa. It will slide right underneath your spa, is gas-piston assisted, has an adjustable height, and easily folds when not in use. This is also a great option if you have a view since it sits lower on the tub. *Required clearance: 12-15 inches |

BASKET COVER LIFTER: A basket cover lifter mounts to the end of a spa and is compatible with square spas, rectangular spas, and swim spas (need 1 for each side for swim spas). It has rollers so you can easily push your cover off and is mounted in the middle of the height of spa to provide both a good view and amount of privacy. *Required clearance: 12-15 inches |

ROLLER LIFTER: A roller lifter is mounted at the side or back of your spa and works well with square spas, rectangular spas, and swim spas (need 1 for each side for swim spas). It is operated manually, can fold up when not in use, and provides a great view but limited privacy. *Required clearance: 42-48 inches |

SQUARE SPAS
The ideal mounting position is across from your spa’s Topside. This is so you have easy access to your spa’s controls. This placement of cover lifter installation is recommended but is not required. Each situation may vary.
RECTANGULAR SPAS
*Applies to all rectangular spas except for the Kingston and Alberta. See the section under for more information on the Kingston and Alberta.
For rectangular spas, mount the cover lifter brackets perpendicular to your spa’s topside.
ALBERTA AND KINGSTON:
Due to their size and placement of the topside, the cover lifter fits best along the long side of these spas.
